Brightminds Tuition Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are valid for all tuition sessions from March 2022. Brightminds Tuition reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions when necessary and all of our affected clients will be notified in advance before-hand.

Registration 

Clients are required to provide adequate contact details; this will allow effective communication. We will require your home address, email, and two contact numbers. Please ensure you notify Brightminds Tuition of any changes to these at your earliest convenience.

Booking and Payment

Sessions are charged as per the rates discussed at the time of booking.

Sessions are to be paid in full before they commence.

Payment for tuition is by cash or bank transfer, details as per the invoice provided. ­

By booking a regular time slot you agree to pay for and attend all available sessions on your chosen day/time each academic term.

Tuition fees are non-refundable and late payments may result in the student’s place being suspended.

 

Cancellations

Cancelled/missed sessions are non-refundable, as these sessions require a level of commitment; however, due to medical emergencies, we will offer an alternative session if it is possible.

Sessions cancelled by Brightminds Tuition and not rescheduled will be refunded in full or credited to your account.

 

Absences/illness

To avoid the spread of illness to students with compromised immune systems, any student with an infectious illness which would require them to be absent from school should not attend tuition in person. 

If your child is well enough for online tuition, an online session can be arranged for your scheduled session (please note at least 12 hours notice is required for this).

 

Timekeeping and parental involvement

All sessions are an hour long (55 minutes teaching time, plus 5 minutes verbal feedback time.)

Sessions may not be recorded (audio or video) without written prior consent from us at Brightminds Tuition. 

It is the parent’s responsibility to provide details of any allergies, special needs or medical concerns which they deem important while the student is at tuition. 

Brightminds Tuition takes no personal responsibility for individual exam results but will endeavour to offer our professional advice and opinion regarding likely outcomes.

We are always available for questions between sessions via email and aim to respond within 24hours Monday-Friday. 

 

Brightminds Tuition Resources 

Resources or worksheets either sent by email or a paper copy provided are strictly for use for the student intended and who presently receive tuition from Brightminds Tuition.
